We Build SUN Into NW Homes

Light, space and comfort.
Your sunroom will add all of these to your home by utilizing the latest in glass technology. Special reflective and thermal coatings, combined with an argon filled space between dual panes of tempered glass, give us the ability to keep your room cool in the summer while still being warm and cozy in the winter.
Our overhead glass units are a combination of Solarcool Azurlite, a reflective glass, over argon gas, over Low 'E' glass. Solarcool Azurlite reflects 84% of the suns heat, while the Low 'E' glass keeps heat from being reradiated back out of the room at night or on cloudy days. The wall glass is Low 'E' over Argon over clear. On a summer day, when the sun is directly overhead, the heat is reflected away. But, in the winter, when the sun is lower to the horizon, you gain heat (and retain it) through the wall glass.

Comfort by Design
By using combinations of only the most efficient of these glass types, together with operable windows, doors and ventilation fans, we design your room to be as warm as possible 6 months of the year and as cool as possible during the day the other 6 months.
We can design any combination of operable doors and windows into your room to suit your space, ventilation and traffic flow requirements.

For automatic ventilation and cooling, we recommend the Vent Axia fan. This glass mounted, thermostatically controlled unit comes with a cool-air inlet. The thermostat will automatically turn on the fan and open the louvers of the inlet to bring in a fresh change of air every two minutes. (Total volume of air moved is 1027 cubic feet per minute.) This means that your room will be as cool when you get home from work in the afternoon as it was in the morning when you left. (without having to leave windows open and your home unsecured!) For pool and spa or greenhouse applications, an optional humidistat controller is available as well.
